Alpacas travel in cars. Especially if we’re just taking one animal to the vet, or there is an emergency. We do have an alpaca trailer but there is no need for it if you are transporting one adult or a few babies.
When Sonni broke her leg we stuck her in the back of a two door yaris and drove her to the vet.
Silly alpacas.
